VERONICA CAMPBELL-BROWN and TATJANA LEBEDEVA in the "25th Vardinoyannia" EAR is glad to announce the participation of two world champions in the "25th Vardinoyannia" meeting. VERONICA CAMPBELL-BROWN (gold medalist in Beijing and Athens in 200m.) and TATJANA LEBEDEVA (silver medalist in Beijing in LG and TJ)
The Jamaican champion VERONICA CAMPBELL-BROWN will be participating for the first time in the "Vardinoyiannia" in the 100m. and 200m. TATJANA LEBEDEVA will be participating in the TJ in the "25th Vardinoyannia" meeting where the Greek Chiampion Chrisopigi Devetzi will be competing too. VERONICA CAMPBELL-BROWN The presence of VERONICA CAMPBELL-BROWN in Rethymno is a great success for the Vardinoyannia meeting since she is one of the top female athletes in 100m. and 200m. for the last five years. VERONICA won the gold medal in 200m. at the last two Olympic Games in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008. VERONICA CAMPBELL-BROWN was born on 15th May 1982 in Trelawny, Jamaica and has participated in 3 Olympic Games and 2 World Chiampionships. VCB has become three times a golden medalist at Olympic Games (200m. in 2004 and in 2008, 4x100 in 2004), one time a silver medalist (4x100 in 2000) and a bronze medalist (100m. in 2004) She has participated two times in the world Chiampionship (in 2005 and 2007). She won the gold medal ( 100m. in 2007) and 4 times the silver medal (200m., 4x100m., 10m., 4x100m. in 2005) TATJANA LEBEDEVA TATJANA LEBEDEVA has been one of the top female athletes in the Russian athletics for more than ten years since she has won a lot of titles. She won the gold medal in TJ the silver medal in LJ in Athens 2004. At the Olympic Games in Sidney 2000 she won the silver medal in TJ and in Beijing in 2008 she won two silver medals in LJ and TJ. TATJANA LEBEDEVA has become six times a gold medalist indoor and outdoor (2001, 2003, 2006, 2007 while in 2004 she won both the LJ and TJ indoor). She has also won twice the silver medal in the World Championship.
