Participations in 110m. Hurdles and Long Jump Men

The Organizing committee is working intensively for the preparation of the “26th Vardinoyannia” meeting on Wednesday 7 July at DAK Gallou “Pavlos I. Vardinoyannis”. The participations of 110m. Hurdles as well as Long Jump Men will be of High Standards. There will be 8athletes in the event of 110m. Hurdles and 14 athletes will compete in the Long Jump.

110m. HURDLES MEN

Richardson Jason
The American Richardson Jason was born on 4 April 1986 and his personal best is 13.21. Richardson Jason won the Juniors World Champion in 2003 in Sir burgh.
 
Joel Brown
The American Joel Brown was born on 31 January 1980 and his personal best is 13.22, however this year he has achieved 13.44. Joel Brown came 6th in the World Championship in 2005 in Helsinki. He has participated in the Grand Prix of IAAF for the last two years and his best performance was in Thessaloniki when he came 6th.
 
William Sharman
The British William Sharman was born on 12 September 1984 and his personal best is 13.30, while this year he has done 13.45. His greater success was when he came 4th in the World Championships in Berlin.
 
Daniel Kiss
The Hungarian Daniel Kiss was born on12 February 1982 and his personal best is 13.32 which he achieved in Budapest on 20 July. In Goteborg in 2006 he came 6th at the European Championship.
 
 
Kostas Douvalidis
The Greek champion Kostas Douvalidis was born on 10 March in 1987 and his personal best is 13.46, while this year he has achieved 13.52 at the Pan-Hellenic Championships in Patras. He is an athlete of EAR and now he is at his best since he has achieved a lot at Juniors championships. In 2008 Douvalidis came 2nd at Super League and in 2007 he became a champion at the European Juniors championships in Duberstein. He won the Silver medal at the European Juniors Championships in 2005 in Kaunas and the Bronze medal in 2006 in Beijing.
 
Maksim Lynsha
Maksim Lynsha comes from Belarus and she was born on 6 April in 1985 and his personal best is 13.46, while this year he has achieved 13.69.
 
 
Yume Moses
The Japanese Yume Moses was born on 2 January in 1988 and his personal best is 13.76, while this year he as achieved 13,78.
 
LONG JUMP MEN
James Beckford
The Jamaican James Beckford was born on 9 January 1975 and his personal best is 8.62 in the open track and 8.40 indoors. This year he has achieved 7.93 in Chania. James Beckford has won the Silver medal in 1995 in Goteborg and in 2003 in Paris Saint Denis. He has also won the Silver medal in Atlanta in 1996 and he came 4th in the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004. At the World Championships in Osaka in 2007 he came 6th.
 
Ignsious Gaisah
Ignisious Gaisah from Ghana was born on 20 July in 1983 and his personal best is 8.43 in the open track and 8.36 indoors. This year he has achieved 8.43 in Engel a few days ago. Ignisious Gaisah won the World Championship indoors in 2006 in Moscow and in 2005 he won the Silver medal in 2005 in Helsinki. In 2006 he won the Pan African championship where he did 8.51 with 3.7 winds and he came 6th in the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004. In Paris Saint Dennis in 2003 at the World Championship he came 4th.
 
Travell Quinley
The American Trevell Quinley was born on 16 January in 1983 and his personal best is 8.36 outdoors and 8.07 indoors, this year he has achieved 7.99.
 
Al-Sabee Hussein Taher
The champion Al-Sabee Hussein Taher was born on 13 November 1979 and his personal best is 8.35 outdoors and 7.93 indoors. He was the Gold Champion in Asia in 2002 and in Co lobo and in 2003 in Manila.  
 
Brian Johnson
The American Brian Johnson was born on 5 March in 1980 and his personal best is 8.33 outdoors and 8.28 indoors. He came 9th at the World Championships in Berlin, and this year he has achieved 8.08.
 
Chris Noffke
The Australian Chris Noffke was born on 6 January in 1988 and his personal best is 8.33 outdoors which he did in Perth. He was the Juniors Gold World Champion in 2005 in Marrakesh.
 
Olexiv Lukashevich
The Ukrainian Olexiv Lukashevich was born on 11 January in 1977 and his personal best is 8.27 outdoors and 8.25 indoors. He was the Gold Medalist at the European Championships in Munich in 2002 and Bronze Medalist I Goteborg in 2006At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 he came 4th as well as in Osaka in 2007.
 
Oleksander Soldatkin
The Ukrainian Oleksander Soldatkin was born on 26 April in 1986 and his personal best is 8.12 outdoors and 8.02 indoors.
 
Dimitris Diamantaras
The Greek Dimitris Diamantaras was born on 18 July 1984 and his personal best is 8.12 outdoors and 7.89 indoors.
 
Giorgos Tsakonas
The Greek Champion Giorgos Tsakonas was born on 22 January 1988 and his personal best is 7.93 outdoors and 7.98 indoors. In 2005 he was 6th at the Juniors World Championships in Mar aches.
 
 
Michalis Mertzanidis-Despoteris
The Greek champion Michalis Mertzanidis-Despoteris was born on 21 August 1987 and his personal best is 7.86 outdoors and 7.54 indoors. The athlete of EAR came 2nd at the Pan-Hellenic championship in Patra with 7.74.
 
Dimitris Michalelis
The Greek Dimitris Michalelis was born on 20 June in 1991 and his personal best is 7.72 outdoors and this year he has done 7.58.
 
 
Mohamed Al-Kuwaildi
The athlete from South Arabian Mohamed Al-Kuwaildi was born on 5 February and his personal best is 7.09 outdoors.
